THIS year has been all about launching and refining Vizall to make your data projects quicker and easier to manage. Read about major updates below in our 2023 Year in Review.

1. A Smarter Data Cleaner
Clean, accurate and reliable data is essential in order to deliver meaningful insights. Since we began scaling up earlier this year, we have been working hard to make the data cleaner more intuitive and effective.
In Data Summary there’s now outliers, making it easier to spot red flags in your data – or better yet – find the unusual stats that become your key story or insight.
We want to make the process from upload to embed as fast and as hassle-free as possible. This year we have been busy refining Vizall’s automation features, such as column data type estimation and more intuitive spell checking.
2. Exploring new places
Hello, New Zealand! We have expanded our interactive map regions so you can visualise data across the ditch. Right now NZ council areas and Statistical Area Level 2 (SA2; similar to suburbs) are compatible.
3. Tables Are More User-Friendly Than Ever
Searchable tables look better, can be sorted across all columns, and have received minor UI improvements so you can create and share tables easily.
4. Say Goodbye to Glitches
Bugs, be gone! We’ve squashed pesky database issues to make your experience smoother than ever. Reliability is so important, and this is where we are so grateful when you get in touch at contact@vizall.com.au to let us know when something isn’t working. We want you to be able to focus on what matters – uncovering insights – without drama.
5. Share the Love on Social Media
When you share your creations on social media with a link, they will appear with a nice preview image so your insights get the spotlight they deserve.
Preview links improve the click-through rate on your interactives on social platforms.
6. Speeding Up Your Data Journey
A lot of hard work has gone into speeding up spreadsheet upload and data cleaning on big datasets.
There’s still work to be done but for most moderate-large datasets you’ll find the process much smoother!
